Abstract

The cumulative particle size distributions of aerosols have clear physical meaning and may be determined in physical experiments. In this paper it is suggested to deduce the cumulative, rather than differential, particle size distribution, and the counter transfer function during the data reduction. The corresponding algorithm is presented and validated. The results of the test method, using both the experimental and simulated data, are given.
