Abstract

Based on the current situation of less research on the risk assessment of overboard-man at sea and a large number of search and rescue experiences in making decisions based on qualitative judgments, a comprehensive risk assessment model was established through the combination of analytic hierarchy process and gray fuzzy theory, and verified by real cases, and the results calculated by the model were basically consistent with the actual situation. This lays the foundation for further development of a Web-based risk assessment system for overboard-man.
