Abstract

Approximately 2 years ago, I started my training in clinical chemistry at Boston Children's Hospital. A colleague at the hospital once said something that will always stay with me: “let the data tell you.” With a steep learning curve ahead of me and a finite number of hours in a day, I found myself getting up at 5:30 am to go to the gym to have the only hour of sanity throughout my day.
