Abstract

Knowledge management represents for organizations the possibility of having information aimed at developing strategies and obtaining competitive advantages. In the last decade, the volume of data generated has increased exponentially. For organizations, it is important to use technologies and techniques to process data quickly and automatically to assist organizations in the decision-making process. The purpose of this article is to present a Data Mining model for knowledge management in which technology is used to find patterns, connections, correlations, or anomalies in a large amount of data, allowing to find problems, hypotheses, and opportunities more easily, as well as generate insights that result in competitive advantages for organizations.
