Abstract
To make up for the deficiency of CAI System in practical application, this paper presents a solution to English teaching by data mining algorithm and expert system. We first introduce the principle and application of expert system and ICAI. According to the actual needs of college English teaching, the basic model and structure of WBIETS system are designed. Then, the knowledge base and inference engine of the teaching expert system are discussed in detail from two levels of logical structure and physical structure, and the optimized Apriori algorithm is used to analyze the correlation of knowledge points. Finally, through Web Expert System and ASP.NET the scheme is run and tested. The results show that the system has good expansibility, portability and transparency. It enables students to practice and realize self diagnosis and provides effective help for college English teaching.
