Abstract

Abstract The progressive advancement of smartphone which offers precise customized configuration and varied capacity abilities has dramatically reshaped the way we use technology. Many applications in many fields have been provided by integration of Near Field Communication (NFC) into smartphones (for example electronic ticketing and access control frameworks). This paper presents a data hiding technique by creating a highly secured connection based on NFC-Enabled Android Smartphones which is called NFC-Stego. The proposed technique solved one of the most challenging data hiding open problems which is restoring deleted files (cover-files) which may help in extracting the payload from the stego-file (Stego-analysis). The experiments conducted showed that that the NFC-Stego is a powerfully secured user friendly system which enables highly capacity data to be hidden along with high imperceptibility.
