Abstract
Abstract Inhomogeneous data sources from fixed and mobile measurement stations have to be put together in a model-based data fusion technique. The fusion uses a probabilistic traffic performance concept resulting in different levels of service which allows the conversion of different local data into section related data. A traffic situation analysis and traffic status prognosis is described based on a comprehensive data provision. In an outlook the application of internet technology for data fusion is given together with first technical applications.
