Abstract

The cantonal transport agency needs for the development and implementation of its long term transport plan a suitable model, which considers all transport modes. Additional to an existing road transport model, the establishment of a model for public transport and the estimation of a mode choice model have the highest priority. The main objectives of this study are * Establishment of a regional public transport model, which is responsive to policy measures * Estimation of mode choice parameters (for public transport, car and slow modes) and the estimation of the route choice parameters (for public transport) A stated preference survey will be the basis for the estimation of the route- and mode choice parameters in the study area.
