Abstract
In this paper we present an approach for solving the problem of data association in multi-target tracking with evidence theory. The solution adopted for the representation of the available information in this method is based on a mapping between targets and observations. Furthermore we derive several basic belief mass functions to build different possible mapping. Using this mapping we make decision about the association in the frame work of evidence theory.
