Data-acquisition system for the [formula omitted] coincidence-counting equipment and the gamm-ray spectrometers at the laboratory of ionizing radiation metrology of ENEA

Abstract

A data-acquisition system, developed at the Laboratory of Ionizing Radiation Metrology of the Italian Commission for Nuclear and Alternative Energy Sources (ENEA), for automatic computer-controlled acquisition of data from the 4πβ(PC)- ▪ coincidence-counting equipment and four HPGe gamma ray spectrometers, is described. This opportunity is also taken to describe briefly the present status of this system and assiociated equipments as well as actual measurements, including the participation in international comparisons.
