German Abstract Zwei Drittel aller Deutschen habe ihre Berufsausbildung im Rahmen des dualen Systems absolviert. Die Berufsausbildung vermittelt gleichermasen theoretisches Wissen und praktische Fahigkeiten und Fertigkeiten. Dieser kurze Beitrag stellt heraus, welche Rolle mimetisches Lernen wahrend der Ausbildung in Berufsschule und Betrieb spielt. English Abstract Two-thirds of all Germany who have learned a profession have done so via the so-called dual system of vocational training. Such training comprises both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This brief paper highlights the role that mimetic learning plays in the training, both at trade school and on the job.
