Summary Full-time musicians as well as part-time volunteers participate in proclaiming the gospel in away that often initiates the communication and still lingers on its tunes. Main tasks of full-time church musicians are to make a contribution to musical culture and to support and educate musical volunteers. For those who bare responsibility in this ministry an act of public vocation and a status similar to "predicants" (lay preachers) would be adequate.
