Abstract
Abstract The general synthetic routes to aromatic triorganylelement(IV b) diorganylphosphines are summarized and briefly discussed. By metathetical reaction of lithium or sodium diphenylphosphide and triphenylelement(IVb) chloride, triphenyltin diphenylphosphine (1) and the new compound triphenylsilyl diphenylphosphine (2) are obtained in good yields.
