Abstract
To the Editor: Patients with skin of color (SOC) have historically been underrepresented in both dermatologic pedagogy and dermatologic research.1 Recently, the field of dermatology has made efforts to improve the SOC content in educational resources; however, skin type diversity in dermatologic research will likely take greater action and time.1 In this study, we sought to determine the percentage of sunscreen clinical trials that included patients with SOC (defined as skin types IV-VI).
