Abstract

OZET : Daphan Ovasi topraklarinin detayli toprak haritasinin hazirlanmasi amaciyla yurutulen bu catisma ile 108850 dekar arazi eiud edilerek ova topraklarinda 12 toprak serisi ve bunlara ait 37 faz ve iki ayrilmamis arazi tipi tanimlanmistir. Ova topraklarinin baslica karakteristikleri, agir bunye ve onemli bir kisminda da yetersiz toprak derinligi ve erozyondur, ileride sulama yapilacagi zaman, bu durum dikkate alinmalidir. THE BASIC SOIL SURVEY OF DAPHAN PLAIN SOILS III. DETAILED SOIL MAP AND REPORT SUMMARY : T his investigation carried oui in order to prepare detailed soil map of daphan Plain Soils. To be able to ful fil t his goal, approximately 108850 decare of land w as surveyed. In ihe surveyed area, 37 phases which were grouped imo four different physiographic unils and twelve soil series, and 2 miscellaneous land types were defined. Outstanding charactenstics of Daphan Plain Soils were found to be heavy texture, shauow soil depth and tendency to erosion in most part.
