Almost 50% of patients with cancer are diagnosed after the age of seventy, which has fueled geriatric oncology research. [1] Many investigations have underlined the importance of a comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) in older patients prior to oncologic treatment to improve treatment decisions and perform non-oncologic interventions.
