Abstract

Isabelle Charleux teaches at the Sorbonne and is a researcher affiliated with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Paris.Her work focuses on Mongolian material culture, especially Buddhist architecture in Mongolia. She is the author of numerous works, including Temples et monastères de Mongolie‐Intérieure (Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art et Comité National des Travaux Historiques et Scientiques, 2006) and (with Edith Parlier) L'Art bouddhique (Scala, 2000).
