Abstract

In this article, we bring questions raised by a research about the path of the formation of a classical ballet teacher from Pelotas’s city, inspired by autobiographical studies and a qualitative approach. Worked with the faculty of docent's memory and eight testimonials. The main contribution was the methodology of Oral History, which proved to be a powerful source for the field of teacher’s training, promoting understanding of the knowledge and experiences of the most significant that formed the studied practical as the methodological perspectives resulting from this process.
