Abstract

Dana Alexander, RN, MSN, MBA, FAAN, is the vice president for integrated care delivery and chief nurse executive at Caradigm, where she is involved with breakthrough initiatives to support new models through technologies and analytics to improve care outcomes, the patient experience, and the economics of health and wellness. She is an advocate for transforming health care to achieve the goals of the National Quality Strategy and the Triple Aim of better health, affordable care, and healthier communities. Building bridges and leveraging professional connections to impact policy, improve quality, outcomes, and patient safety are key strategies for change that she uses, and her advocacy for nursing and future patient care delivery through policy and leadership forums is unwavering.
