Abstract
A new design of attitude control system for flexible spacecraft was described; The control system has two parts, a rigid body attitude controller and a hinge controller. The latter was supposed to suppress the oscillation of flexible appendages. A rotational motion of spacecraft that has a large flexible solar array was modeled and analysed. An improvement was seen in the frequency responses and digital simulations.
