Abstract

Abstract A comparison is made of damage production in silicon, by 30 keV antimony and xenon ion bombardment for both room temperature and elevated temperature substrates as a function of ion dose. The purpose of the study is to investigate the role of any chemical effects which might modify damage retention resulting from high concentration of implanted impurity.
