Abstract

Public health risk reduction efforts commonly target avoiding sexual partner concurrency, as it is associated with increased STI risk. Little data document how often sexual activity occurs during adolescence when more than one-partner is present. We used diary data to examine the frequency of two-partner reports among adolescent women and to understand the factors associated with the likelihood of vaginal sex with neither partner, either of two partners, or with both partners.
