Abstract

A new species of the genus Dactylosporangium is described, for which the name Dactylosporangium fulvum is proposed. In addition to finger-shaped sporangia, this organism produced abundant globose bodies and coremia. It differs significantly from previously described species of the genus Dactylosporangium in its cultural and physiological characteristics. The type strain of D. fulvum is SF-2113 (IFO 14381).
