Abstract
A new method of annealing followed by fast aging was applied to improve strength–ductility balance of cold-rolled Fe–16Mn–9Al-0.8C–3Ni (wt.%) steel. Although fast aging process lasted less than 30 s, it effectively promoted the further ordering of D03 nanoparticles in B2, leading to high yield strength and large ductility.
