Abstract
CAPTAIN showed that adding umeclidinium (UMEC) to fluticasone furoate/vilanterol (FF/VI) improved lung function and symptom control in uncontrolled asthma; treatment response varied by baseline type-2 inflammatory biomarkers. As IgE may also influence treatment response, we evaluated the impact of adding UMEC and/or increasing FF dose in subgroups defined by baseline IgE levels.
