Abstract

Women with coronary artery calcification (CAC) undergoing PCI have historically been at increased risk for adverse clinical events. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has demonstrated substantial intravascular lithotripsy (IVL)-mediated luminal gains and favorable stent expansion due to calcium modification, but sex-specific characterization by OCT has not been reported.
