Abstract

Saphenous vein graft (SVG) remains the most widely utilized conduit in coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), despite elevated first year occlusion rate reaching approximately 20%. Non touch (NT) SVG harvesting technique proved to provide favorable biochemical and histological property of the graft compared to conventional (CON) harvesting. However, the studies compared both techniques revealed mixed Results.
