Abstract

Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) overcomes the shortcomings of angiography-guided PCI and therefore optimizes stent deployment. The Tetriflex IVUS study sought to evaluate outcomes of the ultrathin (60 μm) strut biodegradable polymer-coated Tetriflex sirolimus-eluting stent (SES) (Sahajanand Medical Technologies Ltd., Surat, India) using IVUS optimization among patients with short (<20 mm) vs. long (≥20 mm) lesions.
