Abstract
Is housing in Poland moving towards European standards?This article approximates changes in the housing situation in Poland during the period of membership of the European Union. It is also an attempt to reflect on whether the ongoing changes in housing in Poland are moving towards European standards. The Polish government has adopted the National Housing Program in 2016, which sets out the key goals, thus setting the direction for changes in housing. Generally, the idea is to increase the supply of housing, including those that could serve the needs of low-income families, preventing them from purchasing or renting a home on a commercial basis.
