Abstract

Growth of single crystals (∼ 3mm in diameter and 5 mm long) of EuNi 5 P 3 by means of the Czochralski technique in a cold hearth tri-arc furnace is described. The crystals were characterized by Laue back-reflection diffraction analysis with tungsten X-ray radiation, by electron microprobe analysis, and by neutron diffraction.
