Abstract

Background: Ovarian cancer (OC) commonly involves the peritoneal cavity and carries a high recurrence rate despite surgical excision and systemic therapy. Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS) and Hyperthermic Intraoperative Peritoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) have shown to improve outcomes in a recent multicenter randomized controlled trial. We evaluate the outcomes of patients with OC that underwent CRS and HIPEC at a single institution.
