Abstract

Erythrocytes ofTropidurus torquatus(Sauria, Iguanidae) infected withPlasmodium (Sauramoeba) tropidurishow acid phosphatase activity in Golgi vesicles, multivesicular bodies, secondary lysosomes and autophagic vacuoles. The functional relations between these structures and exocytotic activity is discussed.The authors express their gratitude to: Professor A. G. E.
