Abstract

The use of Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy Cytology in the diagnosis of 18 cases of sarcoidosis with palpable lymphadenopathies in the head and neck area is reported. The interpretation of the smears and identification of typical sarcoid granulomas are described. Scanty literature is available on the cytologic study in this subject.
