Abstract
In case of chemically induced breast cancer (intramammary administration of N-methyl-N-nitrosourea), association of transformations in mesenteric lymph nodes with cytokines of the lymph of the thoracic duct of female Wistar rats on the background of chemotherapy (CMF scheme), surgical treatment of breast cancer and chemotherapy will be revealed. After surgical treatment of breast cancer and chemotherapy, in comparison with breast cancer chemotherapy alone, in the light centers of lymphoid nodules, positive associations of the GRO/KC cytokine with immunoblasts, mitotically dividing cells with the cytokine IL-6 were detected. Positive associations of IL-6 with mitotically dividing cells in light centers and medullary cords, IL-5 with immunoblasts in brain cords, MIP-1a chemokine with mature plasma cells in the cerebral sinuses were revealed. The number of immunoblasts, medium and small lymphocytes in the light centers of lymphoid nodules was increased. In the medullary sinuses, the number of small lymphocytes, immature and mature plasma cells was increased. In the paracortical zone, the relationship of the cytokine IL-6 - with immunoblasts, IL-7 and IL-18 - with medium lymphocytes, IL-1α with small lymphocytes, GRO/KC - with immunoblasts, IL-17 - with macrophages were identified. In the medullary sinuses, the relationships of IL-7 and IL-18 with immunoblasts, MIP-1a and MCP-1 with mature plasma cells, and IL-12 with macrophages were identified.Conclusion. An increase in the activity of the local link of the immune response after breast cancer chemotherapy in the study of the relationship between the concentration of cytokines in the lymph and changes in the mesenteric lymph nodes was revealed.
