Abstract

Introduction: NF-κB is known to play a central role in the molecular and cellular events of intimal hyperplasia (IH). Since non-specific NF-κB inhibition risks deleterious effects on cell viability we sought to elucidate specific cytokine and TLR-dependent NF-κB pathways in control and neointimal SMCs with a view to targeted inhibition.
