Abstract

And the eggs of cockroaches and grasshoppers are encased in a spongy material; And just a few of insect species may reproduce without fertilization; in these cases, the females nonetheless reproduce and develop normally despite having only half as many chromosomes as viable eggs. typical of aphids and other small insects that feed on juice. In the spring, when food juice is plentiful, plants produce offspring asexually; in the summer, when food is short, they reproduce sexually. In conclusion, it is safe to assume that most bug species place their eggs in close proximity to a food supply.
