Abstract

In this article, based on a cytogenetic study of 62 children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, it was found that an increase in the length of the Y chromosome is associated with the development of attention deficit and hyperactivity syndrome. It is also one of the factors for predicting the likelihood of the formation of the syndrome and is used in screening and prenatal diagnostics, with the aim of early detection of a predisposition to the development of the syndrome and the adoption of preventive measures.
