Abstract

The gastrointestinal manifestations of cystic fibrosis predispose patients to morbid conditions involving the pancreas, liver, biliary tract, spleen, and intestine. This article reviews the sonographic appearance of these abdominal manifestations. Numerous gastrointestinal complications have sonographic manifestations that must be interpreted correctly to ensure appropriate therapy.
