Abstract

Cyclotron resonance (CR) measurements on a single crystal of LaBi have been performed in the temperature range from 1.6 to 30 K and at the frequency range from 50 to 190 GHz. The two CR absorption lines are observed for H || [100] at low temperature, which corresponds to effective masses m CR * of 0.33 m 0 and 0.65 m 0 , respectively. These values are in agreement with m QO * of α-branch (0.4 m 0 ) and γ-branch (0.63 m 0 ) estimated from acoustic dHvA effect measurements.
