Abstract

The cyclotron drift of charged particles along the boundary between regions of differing gyroradii is considered. Expressions for the drift velocity and drift current along a straight boundary, as well as for the drift velocity along a curvilinear boundary, are derived. The proportion between the parts into which the drift current divides along a branched boundary is estimated using a T-shaped boundary as an example.
