Abstract

Objective To observe the treatment of cyclophotocoagulation for glaucoma of traumatic lens dislocation after vitrectomy.Methods 13 cases ( 13 eyes) secondary glaucoma due to ocular contusion-induced lens dislocation after vitrectomy,there was no relief of the intraocular pressure by a variety of ocular hypotensive drug.Then all cases underwent the treatment of 810 nm laser transscleral cyclophotocoagulation.Results After the first cyclophotocoagulation,postoperative intraocular pressure below 21 mmHg in 8 cases (61.54%) ; 26 ~31 mmHg in 5 cases which need ocular hypotensive drug to controll intraocular pressure.Conclusion The treatment of cyclophotocoagulation for glaucoma of traumatic lens dislocation after vitrectomy could effectively control intraocular pressure.
