Cyclo-Tetrakis[μ-N-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)-N′-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)hydrazinate(2–)]tetracobalt(II)N,N-dimethylformamide tetrasolvate

Abstract

The title compound, [Co4(C15H12N2O4)4]·4C3H7NO, contains N-(2-hydroxy­benzo­yl)-N-(2-hydr­oxy-3-methoxy­benzyl­idene)hydrazine anions and CoII cations linked into tetra­meric complexes about positions of \overline{4} point symmetry. Each CoII cation is pentacoordinated and adopts a distorted square-based pyramidal geometry. There is one O—H⋯N hydrogen bond [O⋯N = 2.595 (6) Å].
