Abstract
Ref.: Can. J. Civ. Eng. 40: Just-IN version; Published online on 29 April 2013 (2013). Dr. B. Benmokrane, the corresponding author of the paper Cyclic-load behavior of GFRP-reinforced concrete shear walls, requested that the paper be withdrawn from the Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering (CJCE), given its substantial overlap with a paper he and co-authors published simultaneously in the Journal of Composites for Construction. However, given that the CJCE version of the paper has already been published, this is not possible and so the Editors of CJCE are retracting it. Note that the paper being retracted was published only in the electronic version of CJCE as a Just-IN manuscript; it was not incorporated into a print issue.
