Abstract
Abstract This article discusses a series of experimental musical theater performances that took place between 2015 and 2017. This art-based research applies cybernetic and system theory principles at different levels (i.e. compositionally aesthetically dramaturgically) in the creative process to demonstrate how qualities of the posthuman condition can manifest in experimental music theater. The article presents a number of these experimental musical theater performances and introduces the term cybernetic performance ecosystem
