Abstract
The digital revolution has influenced the development of various industrial fields in China, as well as in literature. Various types of literary works were born in the digital space and later developed into a genre called Wǎngluò wénxué 网络 文学 or popularly known as "Cybersastra". This article is an overview of in-depth research on the Cybersastra movement in China, starting from its triggering factors, its pioneers, to its business model from time to time. The Cybersastra movement in China has had a major influence on the literary climate which previously seemed so idealistic, then transformed into competitive digital products based on the basis of supply and demand. Despite the distortion that Cybersastra has caused to the authenticity of Chinese literature, the rapidly developing Cybersastra has succeeded in globalizing Chinese literature. Cybersastra also made the literary climate in China a pop culture industry, which forms the basis of various derivative art industries.

Cina dikenal sebagai bangsa yang memiliki kekayaan sastra sangat besar. Sejak lama Cina telah menjadi bagian penting dari kesusastraan dunia. Berdasarkan peluang yang timbul seiring dengan pesatnya kemajuan internet, industri kebudayaan Cina telah masuk ke tahap perkembangan yang sangat maju. Cybersastra dapat bertahan dan berkembang dalam proses naik turunnya industri yang muncul di dunia internet selama lebih dari satu dekade. Berdasarkan data tersebut Yì guān zhìkù 易观智库menyimpulkan bahwa dalam dunia internet seluler, pengguna aplikasi kategori hiburan, sosial media, utilitas dan membaca melalui internet seluler telah menjadi aplikasi tren utama. Cybersastra di negara maju masih berada pada level peminat sastra amatir, jumlahnya juga sangat terbatas, sedangkan di Cina telah lahir lebih dari 5 juta kelompok penulis bahkan mengembangkan sekelompok besar penulis profesional, hingga membentuk model bisnis yang matang dan pasar bilateral berskala besar. Dapat dikatakan bahwa industri Cybersastra di Cina telah mengubah model bisnis kesusastraan konvensional, mengombinasikan aturan dan karakteristik perkembangan internet, dan membentuk model bisnis industri kebudayaan modern.
