Abstract

As more 5G devices are deployed at the edge of the network, some problem emerged, such as high complexity of network deployment and high security. We present a networking solution in which device located in the operator's untrusted area accesses the device in the operator's trusted area through the signaling interworking gateway to solve these problems. The signaling interworking gateway mainly includes signaling proxy function and security protection function. The signaling proxy function is responsible for signaling forwarding between trusted area devices and untrusted area devices. The security function ensures the security of the operator's network through access control and signaling monitoring.
