Abstract

This report examines the issue of customer loyalty in the UK general insurance market, examining what types of customers are likely to be loyal, and whether insurers can modify their strategy to capture more loyal customers. Concentrating on the volatile motor insurance market with a 12-month survey of over 24,000 policyholders, our findings reveal a worrying scenario in the contemporary marketplace.
