Abstract

This paper proposes a curve analog control of maximum torque per ampere control (MTPAC) for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) used in electric vehicles. Iterative delivery and the least square method are employed to derive the d-q-axis current component and the curve simulation of the data. Then the whole curve is divided into three sections whose highest index is two. Compared to the traditional MTPAC, the new one is more simple and practical. The advantages of the improved scheme are analyzed and verified by computer simulations. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme can guarantee the high efficient robust for the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (TPMSM).
