MacAlpine, G. M. ; Smith, S. B. ; Lewis, D. W. Abstract Descriptions, positions, and finding charts are presented for 100 extragalactic emission4ine objects and possible QSOs. They were detected optically with the 61 cm aperture Curtis Schmidt telescope in combination with a thin objective prism and a IIIa-J photographic emulsion at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory. This list, the second in a series being prepared at the University of Michigan, contains sources to about continuum magnitude 18.5 which are located in the regions of sky with equatorial coordinates lh.3 < a < 2b.0, + 20 < < + 70 and 23h.2 < a < 0h.l, -2?5 < < +2?5. Included are 59 apparent emission-line galaxies, 18 "probable" QSOs with estimated redshifts, and an additional 23 "possible" QSOs. Information presented for each galaxy includes 1950 coordinates, image dimensions from the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey, an estimated continuum apparent magnitude, a rough redshift estimate when feasible, alternate designations (if they exist) resulting from membership in other compilations, and a spectral classification which involves compactness, color, and line-strength parameters.
