Abstract

In 2018, a multidisciplinary task force published a consensus report outlining an ultrasound curriculum and competency assessment tool for use in obstetric and gynecologic residency programs.1 This document outlined the rationale for standardized ultrasound training among residents, citing both the integral role of ultrasound in the clinical practice of obstetrics and gynecology and the need for formal educational strategies and competency assessments in light of resident work hour restrictions.
